Creating a successful session
Remote therapy can be very comfortable for both the patients and therapists. Therapy in a well known environment at home can take place when it's hard to leave the house, and there's more flexibility in accessibilty of patients and therapists who live far away from each other. Large health organizations such as the AAN agree that remote therapy could have value for patients.
Even so, it's not always simple to do it right, and those of us who aren't well practiced need to ease into it.
Here are a few rules that's important for you and your patients to follow in order to make sure you will have a successful remote therapy session.
